friends cut

for the first time ever, i'm having a friends cut. i hate doing this, but because i'm so busy and can't keep up with everyone, however much i'd like to, i have to do it.

that being said, it's nothing personal.

i only cut those who belong in one of these categories:

we don't comment on each others' journals. ever.
you suddenly disappeared off the face of LJ without any indication that you're on hiatus.
your lj is all about fandom, and never or rarely about rl. i appreciate fangirling, but i need my friends to be a little more personal.
you changed your username, and i already added your new account.

okay, i think it's my OCD talking again, but i'm getting vaguely put off by the number of random friend adds i've been getting.

i am not a big fan of huge flists, because it's stupid and impersonal. so if you think we've got something in common, comment on my friends only post, and i'll see if we can work things out.

otherwise, please remove me from your f-list, or i'll start banning people soon. i don't want to be a bitch about this, but it's getting seriously annoying.

and puh-lease, if you're adding me because i have publish lots of news / make graphics, forget it. i'm only interested in real friends.
